                              WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

Family Advocate Council
Families affected by pediatric AML can bring their experience and perspective to the Pediatric AML Community, helping ensure that the needs of children and families remain central to research priorities.  Bring your experience, your voice and your urgency.

Foundation Partners
Foundations and nonprofit organizations can join the Collaborative, share expertise, help identify promising opportunities, and participate in coordinated funding of pediatric AML research.

Fundraising & Outreach Volunteers
Individuals, families and community groups can help expand the Collaborative by organizing fundraising efforts, introducing potential supporters, and increasing awareness of pediatric AML.

Research & Clinical Community
Researchers and clinicians can connect with the Collaborative to share ideas, identify unmet needs, explore collaborations, and learn about future funding opportunities.

There is a place for everyone in this effort. Whether your connection to pediatric AML is personal, scientific, philanthropic or simply a desire to help, we invite you to join us.

The progress we are celebrating today was made possible because families, foundations and donors were willing to support promising science when it needed help moving forward.  There are now two ways to support pediatric AML research, depending on where you would like your gift directed:
Both share the same goal: helping promising pediatric AML research move forward so more children have better treatment options.

SUPPORT PROJECT STELLA AT FRED HUTCH

For those who want to continue supporting Dr. Soheil Meshinchi’s Project Stella research at Fred Hutch, contributions can be made directly through Fred Hutch’s dedicated Project Stella fund.

For questions about making a gift to Project Stella through your donor-advised fund or via stock, please contact:

Rachel Hunter; Associate Director, Philanthropic Gift (206) 667-7730 or Email: rhunter2@fredhutch.org

SUPPORT THE PEDIATRIC AML COLLABORATIVE

For those who want to support promising pediatric AML research, contributions can be made to the Pediatric AML Collaborative Fund at Children’s Cancer Research Fund. This restricted fund is dedicated exclusively to pediatric AML research but is not restricted to any particular researcher or institution—allowing support to follow the most promising science wherever it is taking place.

For questions about making a gift to Pediatric AML Collaborative  through your donor-advised fund or via stock, please contact:

Alison Olson, CFRE; Director of Development, Individual Giving (952) 746-9431 or Email: AOlson@childrenscancer.org

WANT TO HELP IN OTHER WAYS?

Funding is important, but it isn't the only way to help. Families and supporters can help raise awareness, share information, connect us with other families and foundations, participate in advocacy, or simply bring their own ideas and experience to the effort.

Interested in helping pediatric AML research move forward? We'd like to hear from you. Tell us a little about yourself and how you'd like to get involved.
